Good morning, St. Vincent and the Grenadines! It’s a beautiful start to July as fair to partly cloudy skies greet us across the islands this morning. A light Saharan haze remains over the region, but overall conditions are shaping up to be pleasant with comfortable breezes and just the slight chance of a few isolated showers during the day.

    At 6:00 a.m., the temperature at Argyle International Airport was a warm 27.2°C under partly cloudy skies. Northeasterly winds are blowing at around 20 km/h, helping to keep conditions comfortable despite the tropical warmth. Humidity is sitting at 78 percent, while no rainfall was recorded during the past 24 hours.

    The Atlantic High Pressure system continues to dominate our weather pattern, bringing generally settled conditions across St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Expect sunshine to mix with passing clouds throughout the day, accompanied by moderate haze and the possibility of one or two brief showers.

    There are no weather advisories currently in effect. However, mariners and sea bathers should continue exercising caution as moderate seas and occasional gusty winds persist. Swells are forecast between 1.5 and 2.0 metres in open waters.

    Across the region this morning, Trinidad is enjoying fair weather while Barbados, Antigua, San Juan and Miami are all reporting partly cloudy skies. New York and London remain cloudy, while Toronto is also seeing partly cloudy conditions.

    Today’s high tide is expected at 6:10 p.m.. Sunrise occurred at 5:42 a.m., while sunset will be at 6:35 p.m..
