Good morning SVG! We’re starting this Wednesday under cloudy, breezy and slightly hazy skies as weak unstable conditions continue to linger across the islands. While the weather is expected to improve at times, a few passing showers remain in the forecast, so it’s another day to keep the umbrella nearby just in case.

    At 6:00 a.m., the Meteorological Office at Argyle International Airport reported a temperature of 26.5°C with northeast winds blowing at around 24 km/h. Conditions remain relatively comfortable despite the cloud cover, although yesterday’s rainfall total reached a notable 62.1 mm, highlighting the unsettled conditions experienced over the past 24 hours.

    Forecasters say weak instability will continue to influence the weather today, bringing occasional cloudiness and a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Fortunately, there are currently no weather advisories or warnings in effect.

    Marine conditions remain generally favourable, with seas slight to moderate in open waters and swells ranging from 1.0 to 1.8 metres. No marine advisories have been issued.

    Across the region this morning, Trinidad, Antigua and Miami are reporting fair conditions, Barbados is partly cloudy and breezy, while San Juan, New York and Toronto remain cloudy. London is fair and breezy.

    Today’s high tides are forecast for 9:36 a.m. and 7:24 p.m., while low tide is expected at 12:14 p.m.. Sunrise was at 5:38 a.m. and sunset will occur at 6:32 p.m..
