Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Saturday 13th October – The St. Vincent and The Grenadines Football Federation will be having a series of Capacity Development workshops with the emphasis being placed
on the overall development of the players, not just on-field performances.
The first workshop will be held on Saturday 13th October 2018 at its Conference Room with the Under 20 team. Objectives of the sessions are to build capacity in teamwork, deportment, time management, etiquette, and
socializing skills.
Ms. Yoland London the U20 Manager said she is hoping the players will have
a better understanding of each presented topic and incorporate the lessons
into their everyday lives.
Such topics include; Sports and Diet, Link Between Education and Sports,
Conflict Resolution, Managing Injuries/health, and the Importance of Mental State of Readiness.
The workshop will begin at 9:00 am ending at midday and opens with
a ceremony, where President Marvin Fraser and General Secretary Devron E
Poyer is expected to share brief remarks.
The Under 20 would be journeying to Bradenton, USA to participate in the
CONCACAF U20 Championships from November 01st to 21st
. SVG was placed in Group A alongside Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Puerto Rico,
US Virgin Islands and USA.
