    Police wins Knock-Out Title of the Firms and Industrial Netball Championship

    The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force defeated Massy Stores 45-40 last Saturday night to win the Knock-Out Title of the Firms and Industrial Netball Championship at the Kingstown Netball Centre at New Montrose.

    Massy Stores led 11-10 in the first quarter, 24-21 in the second quarter, and 33-30 in the third quarter.

    Goal-shooter, Sylvorne Olliver netted 34 goals from 45 attempts for the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, and goal-attack, Odean Grant scored 11 goals from 13 tries.

    For Massy Stores goal-shooter, Jimisha Sam scored 30 goals from 30 attempts, and goal-attack, Janette Toney contributed 20 goals from 26 tries.

    Earlier, the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture won the League Title.

    Six teams participated in this year’s Championship.
