    Student Charged with Assault

    Police arrested and charged a 16 years old Student of Union Island with the offences of possession of an offensive weapon and assault.

    According to investigations, the Student allegedly (i) without lawful excuse in a public place had in his possession a knife. (ii) the accused was additionally charged with the alleged assault of a 52 years old Farmer of Clifton Union island, with intention to commit the offence of wounding.

    The incident occurred on the 03.12.2018 about 1:30 pm.
