The Memorandum of Understanding allows for cooperation between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and National Health England for the development of healthcare delivery through the recruitment of nurses. It was signed by His Excellency Cenio Lewis, High Commissioner of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in London and Michelle Thompson, Head of the Global Learners Programme at Health Education England.
To facilitate the first phase of the recruitment process, Health Education England has requested that unemployed nurses who are holders of a degree or an associate degree and wish to work in the United Kingdom, to submit a curriculum vitae (CV). Interested persons can submit their CV’s to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce by December 31, 2018.
Officials from Health Education England will be visiting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in early 2019 to meet with applicants who were contacted and issued letters of invitation. Please be advised that all information provided on the CV must be accurate, as any false information will result in disqualification.
The Ministry will inform the general public of further developments in relation to the recruitment of nurses to the United Kingdom.
