The new OPV coast guard ship which was ordered by the government from the Damen shipyard based in Holland, will arrive here on Saturday 15th December 2018. Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will visit the ship at around 430pm on Saturday, and will be taken on an official tour. The ship will be docked at the cruise ship berth.
SVG will be the only country in the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean to have an Offshore Patrol Vessel which will assist in strengthening border security to patrol our large seaspace.
