    National lottery/Hairoun North East Football league presents prizes

    More than 40 Trophies and Medals together with prize money totalling EC12,000.00 were presented to winning football clubs and outstanding individual players at the Chili Playing Field on Sunday evening as the 2018/19 HAIROUN/National Lotteries Authority North East Football League concluded.

    The Championship clubs included the Sandy Bay Gospel Chapel in the Sports Evanglism Segment of the Futsal Division, with Owia United (1) winning the Women Segment.

    In the Development Championships, Owia United won the Under-11 Division; SV United, the Under-13 Division; and Chapmans F.C the Under-17 Division.

    The Champions in the Elite Divisions were:

    In the Community Shield Knock-out Cup – All Stars, with the

    Individual Awards going to:

    Best Goal Keeper – Nickron Billy – All Stars, Best Defender – Eldon Pompey – All Stars, Best Midfielder –Terrason Joseph – All Stars, Best Striker – Kadeem Duncan – Brownstown United and the MVP of the Final – Dwayne Cupid – All Stars.

    The Award for the Best Manager/Coach of the Community Shield Cup went to Cartwright Franklyn of All Stars

    In the 1st Division, Overland emerged Champions with Individual Awards going to:

    Best Goal Keeper – Jevon Williams – Overland, Best Defender – Androy Spring – Brownstown United, Best Mid-Fielder – Kenroy Ollivierre – Brownstown United, Best Striker – Kadeem Duncan – Brownstown United, MVP of the Final – Trezine Da Souza – Overland, and All Stars won the Premier Division Title.

    The Individual Awards went to:

    Best Goal Keeper – Nickron Billy – All Stars, Best Defender – Curtney Peter – World XI, Best Mid-Fielder – Karson Hoyte, Best Striker – Dwayne Cupid – All Stars, and the Premier Cup was won by World XI.

    The overall Awards in the League went to:

    Most Discipline Team – DESCO, Best Coach/Manager – Cartwright Franklyn – All Stars., Best Youth Player – Kadeem Duncan –Brownstown. The league also gave special recognition to James Browne for his Outstanding Contribution to North East Football League
