SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, January 29, 2019 – Ms. June Pamela Barbour is this country’s Honorary Consul for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Jamaica. Ms. Barbour was appointed on 16th January 2019. Her recognition was executed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith.
Ms. Barbour will serve in the capacity as this country’s diplomatic agent to Vincentians in Jamaica. Among her duties will also include; promoting the development of economic, educational and cultural interest of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines including the establishment of exchange arrangements in these areas, and encouraging the development of trade and sports, as well as cultural ties between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Jamaica.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce and by extension the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines wish Ms. Babour productive successes during her tenure as Honorary Consul to this country.
