    THE ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES GYMNASTICS ASSOCIATION ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVE

    #PRESSRELEASE The SVG Gymanstics Association held its Annnual Genral metting on 6th February, 2019 which included the elections of officers for positions on the Executive Board of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Gymnastics Association (SVGGA).  The officer elected are

    • Ms. Sharleen Lewis – President (New)
    • Ms. Melissa Veira – Vice President (re-Elected)
    • Mrs. Emma Jackson – Secretary (New)
    • Mr. Stewart Haynes – Treasurer (re-Elected)
    • Mrs. LaPrise Harris-Williams – Technical Director (re-Elected)

    We wish the SVGGA Board all the best in their endeavors as they forge forward in developing gymnastics.  To our members, we thank you and appreciate their efforts and support to the Association as we all build the future of gymnastics in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. 

    The Association would also like to extend gratitude to everyone that made our recently held Gymnastic Meet – ‘Dolphin Gymnastics Coconut Classic’, which took place on Saturday 23rd February, 2019 at ET Joshua Airport.  A total of 108 Gymnasts and 9 Coaches from Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and St. Vincent and the Grenadines competed on Vaulting Table, Uneven Parallel Bars, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise. The competition was open to Level 1 through Level 6. We look forward to next year’s ‘Dolphin Gymnastics Coconut Classic’ slated for 22nd to 23rd February, 2020. We want to wish our Gymnasts all the best in their next competition taking place from Friday 22nd to Saturday 23rd March, as they represent St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the We Flippin’ 2019, 23rd Annual Invitational Meet in Woodbrook Youth Facility, Port of Spain, Trinidad.  Dolphin Gymnastics Club will be sending 11 Gymnasts ranging from Level 1 to Level 4 to compete.
