When the delegation of 25 athletes and 12 officials returns to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Monday, March 25 they will be in a celebratory mood as the continue to enjoy the rewards of their labour at the just concluded Special Olympics World games in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The team brings home a haul of 17 medals. 7 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze along with many ribbons for their efforts.
The performance displayed by our special athletes was one of courage, grit and determination. They cried when they thought results should have gone there way and celebrated joyously when they attained victory.
