    BVI Minister of Agricuture to Visit SVG

    Minister of Agriculture Saboto Caesar is currently on a visit to the British Virgin Islands, where he is discussing a range of issues, relating to the Agricultural sector.

    On Friday, Minister Caesar held discussions with the BVI’s Minister of Education, Culture, Agriculture, Fisheries, Sports and Youth Affairs, Dr. Natalio Wheatley.

    The areas reviewed included markets for agriculture produce, fisheries opportunities and the exchange of technical expertise                in agriculture and fisheries.

    A large number of Vincentians are currently in the BVI working on continued hurricane recovery and re-building efforts.

    The BVI is also home to one of the largest Vincentian Diaspora populations in the Caribbean.Minister Caesar used the opportunity to invite Minister Wheatley to SVG this year, to further address other opportunities in Agriculture and Fisheries.
