The Windward Islands Farmers Association (WINFA) is preparing to host a major workshop in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on April 29th and 30th.

The program which will take place at the Methodist Church Hall will be held at part of a regional initiative which aims to promote sustainable livelihoods among Farmers in the Eastern Caribbean.

It will explore the potential of corporate social responsibility as a strategy and communication tool to ensure long term success.

It also aims to introduce “design thinking” as a means of addressing new policies and programmes to attract young people and farmers to modern types of farming, including climate smart agriculture.
