The New Democratic Party (NDP) is preparing to host a Youth Forum for the young people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines under the theme “Young Entrepreneurs: Positioning SVG’s youths to drive economic prosperity”.
The NDP says the objective of the forum is to encourage young people to be entrepreneurs and to see themselves as having an important role in the development of the country.
The speakers at the Forum include: Meisha Cuickshank – Lawyer and Entrepreneur, Aria Laidlow – Director of Programme Development Commonwealth Youth Council, Environmental Change Specialist, Ruth-Ann Lewis – Musician and Entrepreneur.
The other speakers are: St. Clair Leacock – Member of Parliament for Central Kingstown, Entrepreneur, Shadow Minister of Trade, Industry and Commerce, Private Sector Facilitation, Disaster Management and Labour and Rachel Browne – Tourism and Hospitality Professional from Antigua.
The forum will be held today April 25th at Frenches’ House in Kingstown commencing at 4:30pm. fff
