The T&T Coast Guard last night intercepted a vessel with two male Venezuelan nationals on board, 42 goats, 1 sheep and 12 bottles of alcohol.
According to reports, the TTCG was conducting maritime patrols around 9:30pm South of Icacos Point when they saw the vessel.
It says the vessel and its passengers were in contravention of Customs and Excise Laws, as well as the Animals (Disease and Importation) Act.
They were subsequently escorted to the TTCG headquarters at Staubles Bay in Chaguaramas for further processing.
The occupants and livestock were handed over to partner agencies.

I doubt they were bringing food and booze from Venezuela, more like they had bought the cargo from T&T to take to Venezuela.
It would appear the Trinidadians are almost as stupid as Vincentians, remember when Cocaine turned into washing powder.
