Police have arrested and charged Raffique Sargeant, a 22-year-old resident of New Montrose for allegedly assaulting a 79-year-old resident of the same address by beating her about her body with a metal pipe, causing her Actual Bodily Harm.
The incident occurred at New Montrose on 18.09.19. The accused is expected to appear before the Magistrate Court for an arraignment.
