    Spencer charged with Heritage square shooting

    Police on Friday November 29th, 2019 arrested and charged Tyson Spencer in connection with the shooting incident at Heritage Square on Friday November 22nd, 2019.

    Spenser, 30, from Green Hill was charged with one (1) count of Attempted Murder and two (2) counts of Wounding with Intent.

    The accused was brought before the Serious Offences Court on Monday December 2nd, 2019, charged that on November 22nd, at Heritage Square, armed with a gun, he attempted to murder Kurlan Jackson, of Campden Park.

    He was further charged that on the same date and place, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Wayne Peters, of Kingstown Hill, and Deron Quashie, of Choppins.

    Two (2) of the victims are currently nursing injuries at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

    At the end of the arraignment Spenser was denied bail.

    Spencer is a former murder accused, having been charged with the murder of Clevedon “Junior” Chewitt, 26, of Belair.

    Chewitt died on June 25th, 2011 after receiving a stab wound to the left side of his neck at Heritage Square.
