The Caribbean Public Health Agency today reported seven (7) negative COVID-19 results for St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Two (2) of these negative tests are for patients under isolation as part of the medical clearance process. The other five (5) negative results were all import related suspected cases. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to date, remains at 12. There are currently six (6) pending results.

In an effort to keep Vincentians safe from COVID 19, the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is reminding the public to continue to practice the basic but highly effective public health measures. These include hand hygiene, cough etiquette, physical distancing of at least 3-6 ft in public spaces and strict adherence to quarantine and isolation instructions.

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to thank the public and all stakeholders for their efforts as we continue to slow the spread of COVID-19 in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines will continue to keep the public informed as we manage this public health challenge together.
