    97 new cases of COVID-19 in The Bahamas, death toll stands at 96

    Almost 100 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in The Bahamas on Wednesday.

    According to the latest dashboard released by the Ministry of Health, this brings the total number of confirmed cases to 4220.

    Of the new cases, 77 are residents of New Providence, 3 in Grand Bahama, 2 in Exuma and 1 in Andros.

    The locations of 14 cases are still being investigated.

    There are 1803 active cases of COVID-19 in The Bahamas but only 93 of those infected are currently hospitalised.

    The death toll stands at 96.
