Grenada continues to record new dengue fever cases.
Minister of Health Nickolas Steele said 37 cases were reported in the last month and a half.
He provided an update during today’s Post Cabinet media briefing.
Two persons had dengue hemorrhagic fever however based on the timeline, he said those individuals would have been cleared.
The Health minister said to combat the spread of dengue, fogging has been stepped up as well as public awareness activities.
Steele noted dengue must be tackled the same way COVID-19 was handled, which means the public must do its part to stop mosquito breeding sites around the home.
According to a local news report published on September 24, there were 118 dengue cases so far in Grenada for 2020.
