    COVID-19 cases in Guyana surpass 4,000

    Coronavirus cases in Guyana now stand at 4,023 with the confirmation of 29 new cases on Sunday.

    Data from the Ministry of Health shows that one new case was recorded in Region One, three in Region Two, 17 in Region Four, two in Region Seven, three in Region Eight, and one in Region Ten.

    Of the confirmed infections, only 904 are active.

    The Government of Guyana has so far tested 18,417 people for coronavirus.
