    37 Year Old, Bus Conductor Charged With Bodily Harm & Theft

    Police have arrested and charged Ken-I Young, 37 years old, Bus Conductor of Layou with the offences of Assault Bodily Harm and Theft on 25.11.2020.


    According to investigations, the Accused allegedly assaulted a 32 year old secretary of Lowmans Hill by slapping her on the left side of her face and kicking her to the ground. He was further charged with the theft of one (1) black Samsung A11 cellular phone value $600.00 containing one (1) Flow Sim Card value $15.00ECC and $120.00ECC in cash. The incident occurred at Lower Bay Street, Kingstown on 07.11.2020.


    The Accused appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on 25.11.2020 to answer the charges and plead not guilty. He was granted bail in the sum $2000.00 with one (1) surety and ordered not to contact the virtual complainant. The matter was adjourned to 22.02.2021.
