The police service issued a missing persons bulletin for a Gasparillo man but it turned out he is serving time inside a State prison.
Unknowing to the family Ronnie Lighburn was arrested, charged and then sentenced to by a magistrate to two years imprisonment for cocaine possession.
His relatives had reported him missing to the police.
Earlier this week, the TTPS issued an updated bulletin stating only that he had been found.
Lighburn, 53, also known in his hometown as Selection was arrested on April 29.
The police were on patrol around 1.15 pm at Caratal Road, Gasparillo when they saw him acting suspicious. PC Superville searched him and found one gramme of cocaine clenched in his hand.
The following day he appeared virtually before San Fernando Magistrate Anslem Leander and pleaded guilty.
