    Man accused of stealing cattle, charged.

    Police have arrested and charged 51 year old farmer, Uroy Lewis of Diamond, with two counts of theft, in relation to livestock owned by another farmer.


    The incident is said to have occurred at Brighton between the 13th and 15th May, 2021 and the accused was charged on June 22nd, 2021.

    Lewis is accused of stealing one black and white heifer cattle, valued at $2600 and one white bull cattle, valued at $1600.

    Police have disclosed that the owner of the property is a 72 year old farmer of Brighton.
    Lewis will appear before the Magistrate Court to answer to the charges.
