St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ Vincy Ballers defeated a St. Lucia Select XI , 2-1 in the final played on August 01 at the Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia, to claim the Free Kick Youth Cup title.
Vincy Ballers’ goals came from Denzel Bascombe and Bishon Richards.
The Vincentians played unbeaten in the competition.
They drew 0-0 with Lil Haiti; hammered Real Betis TT – 8-0; blew away Harlem United – 6-1; and drew 3-3 against St Lucia Select XI.
In the semi-finals, Vincy Ballers beat Trincity Nationals 2-1 to advance to Monday’s Final.
At Monday’s Closing Ceremony, Vincentian Josh Stowe was named Goalkeeper of the Competition, with his teammate Bishon Richards taking the MVP award.
The 18-member team of male Under-19 footballers was coached by Alnif Williams and managed by Shadel Cyrus.

The Free Kick Youth Cup was designed to offer the players from the region an opportunity to showcase their skills in the full view of USA college coaches.
