Blue Marlins’ Belle Adams, SVG’s reigning girls 9-10 swimming champion has added another championship title to her name. Adams participated in the 17th Annual Anthony Nesty International Open 2023, held at De Dolfijn in Paramaribo Suriname from 15th – 17th December 2023.
Belle participated in 5 events winning 3 gold and 2 silver medals. She won a gold medal in the 50 m free, the 50 m butterfly and the 100 Individual Medley.
She won silver in the 50 m back and the 50 m breast. Belle who is the current holder of the 50 m breaststroke record lowered her previous time of 39.97 seconds to 39.74 seconds. Adams had personal best times in all of her races and finished as the high score champion in her age group.
