KINGSTOWN, April 17, 2026 – National road safety received a boost this week as ADS Construction Inc. donated 24 high visibility traffic cones to the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) Traffic Department.
The handover ceremony, held on April 17, underscored the growing role of corporate and community partnerships in supporting public safety. The contribution follows a recent donation of roadside mirrors from the Seventh‑Day Adventist Church (SVG Mission) and Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries, signaling a wider movement toward shared responsibility for safer roads.
The equipment was presented by ADS Construction owner Mr. Justin John to Superintendent Parnel Browne, who welcomed the donation as timely and essential. “It is through these partnerships that we enhance our ability to serve,” Browne said, noting that the cones will be deployed immediately to assist with traffic management and pedestrian protection.
Mr. John emphasized his company’s commitment to safeguarding Vincentians, highlighting that the cones will play a vital role in directing traffic flow and reducing risks for both motorists and pedestrians.
Although founded in Dominica, ADS Construction has expanded operations to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where it has become a reliable partner in national development. Beyond its commercial projects, the company has contributed to critical restoration efforts and invested in modernizing Kingstown’s infrastructure, reinforcing its reputation as a socially responsible corporate citizen.
Station Sergeant Stephen Billy delivered the Vote of Thanks, commending ADS Construction and the Seventh‑Day Adventist Church for their generosity. He encouraged other businesses to follow suit, stressing that such contributions strengthen the police force’s ability to serve and protect effectively.
The RSVGPF continues to welcome collaborations that enhance public safety, underscoring that collective action between law enforcement, businesses, and communities is vital to building resilience and protecting lives on the nation’s roads.
