Kingstown St. Vincent April 28, 2026-The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environmental Health and Energy has officially welcomed six participants from the Managed Education Partnership program as part of the ongoing Knowledge Exchange Placement between the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and NHS England. This collaboration, first established in 2018 and expanded in 2022, is designed to strengthen healthcare services in SVG through workforce development, professional training, and the sharing of best practices.
The program links SVG’s Ministry of Health with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, creating opportunities for fellowships, and leadership development. Recent activities have included site visits and workshops led by NHS delegations, focusing on tackling non-communicable diseases, mental health, and geriatric care. The Ministry noted that the placement of these six participants highlights the country’s commitment to advancing healthcare delivery through international cooperation, cultural exchange, and skills transfer.
