The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic Committee (SVGOC) Athletes’ Commission will host the third edition of its Amplify, Achieve, Ignite Athletes’ Forum on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

The forum will take place at the Beachcombers Hotel Conference Room from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is expected to bring together athletes, coaches, parents, affiliates, and other sporting stakeholders.

Organizers say the initiative is designed to provide members of the sporting community with an opportunity to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions on issues affecting athletes both in and out of competition.

The forum will feature panel discussions followed by a question-and-answer segment, allowing attendees to speak directly with panelists and gain deeper insight into the topics being discussed.

This year’s discussion topics include emotional intelligence in sport, identity and performance, setbacks and comebacks, and creating financial stability beyond sport.

The panelists are Dr. Kishore Shallow, President of Cricket West Indies; Ms. Sabrina Mitchell, President of the Bequia Basketball Association; Mr. Kirk DaSilva Jr., Director of the Mustique Tennis Club; and Ms. Sorenya Miller, MSc. Exercise and Sport Psychology, and Track and Field Coach.

At the conclusion of the forum, attendees will also be invited to a networking session at Ada Restaurant, providing an opportunity for further engagement in a relaxed setting.

The SVGOC Athletes’ Commission is encouraging affiliates that have not yet registered to confirm their participation and ensure that athletes, coaches and parents are represented.

Organizers say the involvement of affiliates and wider sporting stakeholders will be critical to the forum’s success.
