History was made at the Brighton Playing Field on Friday, June 12, 2026, as System 3 FC were officially crowned the first-ever champions of the Vincy Soccer Premier League, bringing the curtain down on a memorable inaugural season.

    After 18 rounds of competitive football, System 3 finished at the top of the table with 42 points, recording 13 wins, three draws and just two losses. The champions also produced the league’s most dominant attacking display, scoring 74 goals while conceding 27, for an impressive goal difference of plus 47.

    Layou FC finished second after an outstanding campaign of their own, ending the season with 37 points from 11 wins, four draws and three defeats. Layou also recorded the best defensive record in the league, conceding only 19 goals and finishing with a goal difference of plus 42.

    Jebelle FC also ended the season on 37 points, securing third place after a consistent run throughout the competition. Their 11 wins, four draws and three losses placed them among the strongest performers of the inaugural VSPL season.

    North Leeward Predators finished fourth on 32 points, followed by Awesome FC on 29 points, Back Bay United on 26 points, Camdonia Chelsea on 25 points, Vesco Pastures United on 21 points, Hope International on 18 points and Avenues United on 16 points.

    The season concluded with a closing ceremony hosted by Chairman of the VSPL Organizing Committee, Roxell John, where players, officials, sponsors, supporters and invited guests gathered to celebrate the successful completion of the league’s first season.

    Also in attendance were Marketing and Public Relations Officer for the VSPL, Candy Fraser, members of the SVGFF Executive, sponsors and other stakeholders who contributed to the development and execution of the competition.

    Delivering the closing remarks, Second Vice President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation, Yosiah Dascent, congratulated the participating clubs, players, coaches, officials, volunteers, sponsors and supporters for their commitment throughout the season.

    The championship trophy was officially presented to System 3 FC by the league’s major sponsor, ECGC, represented by Jasmine Millington and C. Patterson.

    Special recognition was given to the league’s sponsors and partners, whose support helped make the inaugural season possible. These included ECGC, Subway, Capstone Inc., Koscab SVG Ltd., Cobblestone Inn, French Verandah, RW Sporting World, Paris 43 Scents, Bargain Auto, Johnty’s Driving School, Beatz Auto World, V-Care by Lucky, Doc’s Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Services, Chef Tory, and media partners Hot 97 FM, Boom FM and BDS Radio.

    The VSPL Organizing Committee also acknowledged the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture and the Creative Industries, the SVGFF Executive, SVGCC, participating clubs, players, officials, volunteers and supporters for their contribution to the league’s success.

    The successful completion of the first VSPL season represents a significant milestone for football in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. With strong competition, growing community support and valuable partnerships, the league has established a solid foundation for future seasons and continued development of the sport.

    As the curtain falls on Season One, System 3 FC will forever be remembered as the club that first claimed the VSPL crown and etched its name into local football history.
