Police arrested and jointly charged Shawn Roberts, 37 years old Chauffeur of Campden park and Kajuan Prince, 16 years old Bus Conductor of Gibson Corner with Burglary, on 15.11.18. According to investigations, between 11:00 p.m. on 26.10.18 and 2:00 a.m. on 27.10.18 at Belvedere, the accused men allegedly entered the Liquor and Provision Shop of a 56 year old Businessman of Brighton and stole a quantity of items valued EC$7,761.60. The presidents who served over the years are – Austin Nurse (deceased), Mike Browne, Yvonne Francis-Gibson (deceased), Joye Browne, Tyrone Burke, Fitz Jones, Otto Sam, Joy Matthews, Elvis Charles, and Oswald Robinson; and the current president is Wendy Bynoe. Two men are assisting police in their investigations surrounding an armed robbery at a shop in Hollywood, Redemption Sharpes. This incident resulted in the death of 56 year old shop keeper Sabitree Lyttle. It is alleged that Ms Lyttle received several gunshot wounds about her body including a wound to the head.
