FIFA has instructed for the immediate reinstatement of Cheney Joseph as President of the Grenada Football Association (GFA). Reports are that football’s world governing body has written to the Acting President Allan James following his correspondence to FIFA seeking clarity on a previous directive. However, sources say that FIFA has reiterated its position that the suspension of the President is without grounds and that FIFA continues to recognise Mr Joseph as the duly elected President of the local football association. On Wednesday Feburary 6th the Calliaqua Clinic received a donation of a fridge valued at EC$2,409.00 from the Yanagil Education and Development Fund. The fridge was essential to the Health Centre for storing essential medications such as insulin, as the fridge at the Clinic for such purpose had malfunctioned and was in need of a replacement for some time.
