The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force Police Youth Clubs (PYC) Interclub-Netball Competition concluded with a closing ceremony at the Arnos Vale playing field on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. The Georgetown Police Youth Club won the inaugural trophy after outperforming the Edge Media Centre Owia Police Youth Club. The tournament featured twenty clubs in five different zones. As a long-standing practice of our university, students of the American University of St Vincent on Wednesday, 13th March, 2023 visited the Paediatric Ward of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). As part of the visit, a donation was made to the ward. Approximately fifty teachers and fifty counsellors are being trained in improving psychosocial support for students, teachers and families of vulnerable populations affected by the Covid 19 pandemic and other hazards.
