The Taiwanese SimplyHelp Foundation in partnership with another non- profit charity organization in Taiwan donated one 40 ft container and two 20 ft. containers to the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines. The containers include 1-thousand boxes of essentials, 482 rolls of fabric, tables and chairs, working uniforms, new clothes as well as sporting equipment. The distribution of the materials is being done through the Ministry of National Mobilisation. Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, is out of touch with the needs of the farmers and fisherfolk of this country. The Prime Minister said that Sandals resort would not be purchasing produce from individual farmers and fisherfolk. Police have charged 18-year-old Kayode Richardson of Campden Park with the offence of Murder. The charge was laid earlier today (16.02.2024) at the Criminal Investigations Department. Richardson is accused of causing the death of Carona Themisha Petronia Jennings, 30 years old of Campden Park. The criminal act was committed on Wednesday 14th February 2024 in Campden Park. A postmortem examination was conducted on the deceased on Friday 16th February 2024. Police at the Questelles Police Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 30-year-old resident of Campden Park. On 14th February 2024, about 11:40 a.m., the police received a report of a stabbing incident in Campden Park. The police responded and met a female lying unresponsive in her yard with what appeared to be stab wounds on her body. The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is expected to spend $12 million on housing for displaced persons.
