Teachers in St Vincent and the Grenadines, vaccinated and unvaccinated, have been ordered to strike for several days this week in a show of solidarity against mandatory vaccination. The SVG Teachers’ Union on December 6, teachers will continue to go to physical and online classes however on Tuesday and Wednesday, they have been asked to stay away from all face to face and online classes, in other words, strike. Grenada is discussing the possibility of allowing cohabiting partners to have the right to apply for spousal maintenance in the event of a relationship breakdown. A total of 103 UNESCO Member states expressed confidence in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, through their vote, to serve on the World Heritage Committee (WHC) from 2021 to 2025. The annual Christmas Road Cleaning Programme is scheduled to commence on Monday December 6, 2021. The initiative spearheaded by BRAGSA, will see the employment of over six thousand persons island-wide. This will include 500 gangs and 1000 Jobbers, who will be responsible for the cutting of trees, and cleaning of roads in all 15 constituencies over the 7 days period.
