The Caribbean Public Health Agency today (April 19th, 2020) reported another three (3) negative COVID-19 results for St. Vincent and the Grenadines. One (1) of these negative tests was for an isolated patientwho had previously tested positive, and is part of the medical clearance process to determine whether thepatient has recovered. National Festivals Minister, the Hon. Daryll S. Matthew on Sunday announced that Antigua’s premier Summer festival, Carnival 2020 has been cancelled. Antiguanewsroom – Prime Minister Gaston Browne has warned of the dire economic consequences that could follow if  Antigua and Barbuda remains closed for an extended period of time. Already Browne says the country’s revenue has dropped by over 70 percent in the last month. (NEW YORK POST) – The 2020 Atlantic hurricane season is shaping up to be a doozy, with four major hurricanes predicted along with a higher than average number of named storms. The forecast, from meteorologists at Colorado State University, is for 16 named storms to strike during the season, which runs from June through November, up from the seasonal average of 12 named storms.
