65 new COVID-19 cases were announced on Thursday. Eighteen of these were announced this morning and 47 in the Ministry of Health’s afternoon update. There are currently 867 active cases while 643 have been home quarantined. The Ministry indicated that of t he 47 cases announced this afternoon, 27 were non-nationals currently quarantined under the supervision of the Trinidad and Tobago Defense Force. KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica recorded 66 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total cases on record for the island to 1,870. Of the newly confirmed cases, 35 are females and 31 are males, with ages ranging from seven years to 88 years.
