Nashika Davis known as “Mother Power” to many is the newest journalist at SVG TV. She hails from a small village in West St George called Ashburton. Cultural Ambassador Orandi Bomani Charles has been appointed the new Chairman of the National Nine Mornings Management Committee. The Graduates Calypso Tent says it has raised the fee to enter its Tent Shows for 2019. Speaking at a press briefing which was held by the SVG Calypsonians Association on Wednesday, Representative of the Graduates Calypso Tent, Glenroy “Homie” Delplesche said they have raised their fee from ten dollars to fifteen dollars to address many of the costs of hosting the shows. The New York-based Dynamites Calyspo Tent will hold its preliminaries on Friday June 7th. The Graduates Calypso Tent will be staging its preliminaries on June 11th. The UpStage Calypso Tent will hold its preliminaries on June 12th. The On-Tour Calypso Tent will be staging its preliminaries on June 13th.
