Police have arrested and jointly charged a 21-year-old Auto Body Repair Man and a 22-year-old Bus Conductor with the offence of Rape. Investigations revealed that the accused men allegedly had unlawful sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old student. The incident occurred on 20.03.18. The men are expected to appear before the Family Court to answer the charge.

Police are investigating a report of Impersonation made by a 29-year-old Labourer of South Rivers on 28.04.19. According to the virtual complainant in his report to the police, he was allegedly defrauded by a 17-year-old Unemployed of Edinboro, intending to defraud him by falsely presenting himself to the virtual complainant as a female. The incident occurred at South Rivers on 19.04.19. Investigations are ongoing in the matter.
