Fair, Breezy and a Little Hazy Start to Monday
Good morning, St. Vincent and the Grenadines! We’re stepping into this Monday with fair and slightly hazy skies, so it’s a calm but breezy start across the country.
At 6:00 a.m., the temperature was a comfortable 26.5°C, with humidity at 77%. Winds are coming in from the northeast at around 20 km/h, giving the morning a fresh, breezy feel.
The Atlantic High Pressure System is the main weather feature influencing conditions today. For the rest of the morning, expect fair to partly cloudy skies, with some slight haze and breezy moments. A few isolated showers may pop up here and there, but nothing too troublesome is expected.
Winds will move from the east-northeast to east at 20 to 30 km/h, while sea conditions will be slight to moderate in open water, with swells ranging from 1.0 to 1.8 meters.
There are currently no weather advisories or marine warnings in effect, so that’s good news for both land and sea.
Looking at the day’s sun times, sunrise was at 5:42 a.m., and sunset is expected at 6:20 p.m. High tide comes up later this evening at 7:38 p.m.
So, keep the shades nearby, expect a little breeze, and maybe don’t be shocked if a quick passing shower tries to sneak into the day. All in all, it’s a decent Monday morning to get things moving.
