Good morning St. Vincent and the Grenadines! Another warm and breezy day is unfolding across the islands as stable Atlantic conditions continue to influence our weather pattern.

The latest report from the Meteorological Office at Argyle International Airport shows conditions this morning as partly cloudy and slightly hazy, with temperatures at a comfortable 26.7°C. Northeasterly winds are moving at around 17 km/h, bringing a refreshing breeze across much of the country.

Forecasters say the Atlantic High Pressure System remains the dominant weather feature, supporting generally fair weather conditions throughout today. Residents can expect skies to remain fair to occasionally cloudy, with a few isolated showers possible during the day.

Humidity levels are currently sitting around 79%, while barometric pressure stands at 1016.2 mb. Yesterday’s high temperature climbed to 30.6°C, while overnight temperatures dipped to a cooler 24.5°C.

Marine conditions remain slight to moderate in open waters, with swells ranging between 1.2 metres and 2.2 metres. Small craft operators and sea bathers are being advised to continue exercising caution due to above-normal swells affecting coastal waters.

Around the region this morning, Trinidad and Antigua are enjoying fair weather conditions, Barbados is cloudy with light showers, while San Juan remains partly cloudy. Miami is cloudy, New York is also cloudy, Toronto is overcast, and London is seeing partly cloudy conditions.

Sunrise today was recorded at 5:39 am, while sunset is expected at 6:23 pm. High tide is forecast for 3:20 pm, while low tide occurred earlier this morning at 7:48 am.

That’s your friendly weather update for today. Keep cool, stay hydrated, and if you’re heading to the beach or out on the water, be mindful of the swells and marine conditions.
