Good morning St. Vincent and the Grenadines! We’re starting the new week with cloudy skies, a touch of haze, and breezy conditions across the islands as weak unstable weather continues to move through the region.

The latest report from the Meteorological Office at Argyle International Airport indicates that conditions this morning are cloudy and slightly hazy, with temperatures sitting around 26.5°C. Northeasterly winds are currently blowing at approximately 11 km/h, although stronger gusts are expected during the day.

Forecasters say weak unstable conditions are crossing the islands, bringing occasional cloudiness, breezy periods, and a few scattered showers throughout the morning and into the afternoon.

Humidity levels remain fairly high at 77%, while barometric pressure stands at 1015.1 mb. Rainfall over the last 24 hours measured 2.9 mm. Yesterday’s maximum temperature reached 29.7°C, while overnight temperatures cooled to 23.5°C.

Marine conditions are expected to remain slight to moderate in open waters, with swells ranging from 1.2 metres to 2.5 metres. Small craft operators and sea bathers are being advised to continue exercising caution due to above-normal swells and occasional gusty winds.

Across the region this morning, Barbados remains cloudy and breezy, while Antigua and San Juan are partly cloudy. Miami is also partly cloudy, New York is fair, Toronto remains cloudy, and London is experiencing cloudy conditions.

Sunrise today was recorded at 5:38 am, while sunset is expected at 6:24 pm. High tide is forecast for 6:52 pm.

That’s your friendly weather update for today. Keep hydrated, keep the umbrella nearby just in case, and if you’re heading out on the water, be mindful of the gusty winds and swells.
