Good morning St. Vincent and the Grenadines! It’s another warm and breezy start across the islands today, with partly cloudy skies and just a slight haze lingering over portions of the country.

The latest report from the Meteorological Office at Argyle International Airport shows conditions this morning as partly cloudy and slightly hazy, with temperatures around 26.4°C. Northeasterly winds are moving at approximately 9 km/h, but stronger gusts are expected during the day, especially near showers.

Forecasters say the Atlantic High Pressure System continues to dominate weather conditions across the region, bringing generally stable weather. However, residents should still expect occasional cloudy periods and a few scattered showers throughout the day.

Humidity levels are currently at 79%, while barometric pressure stands at 1016.3 mb. Rainfall over the last 24 hours measured 3.3 mm. Yesterday’s maximum temperature climbed to 29.3°C, while overnight temperatures cooled to 22°C.

Marine conditions remain moderate in open waters, with swells ranging between 1.5 metres and 2.5 metres. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to continue exercising caution due to above-normal swells and occasional gusty winds.

Across the region this morning, Trinidad, Barbados and Antigua are all experiencing fair conditions, while San Juan remains partly cloudy. Miami is seeing fair weather with light rain, New York and Toronto are both fair, while London is overcast with light rain.

Sunrise today was recorded at 5:38 am, while sunset is expected at 6:24 pm. High tides are forecast for 10:06 am and 7:48 pm, while low tide is expected at 12:23 pm.

That’s your friendly weather update for today. Keep hydrated, keep the umbrella nearby just in case, and if you’re heading out to sea, be mindful of the swells and occasional gusty conditions.
