Good morning St. Vincent and the Grenadines! We’re waking up to cloudy skies and a touch of haze across the islands this Wednesday, with a few showers expected as weak unstable conditions continue to influence our weather.

The latest observations from the Meteorological Office at Argyle International Airport show conditions this morning as cloudy and slightly hazy, with temperatures around 25.2°C. Winds are currently light from the south-southwest at about 13 km/h, making for a calm start to the day.

Forecasters say weak instability remains across the islands, bringing the likelihood of occasional cloudiness, brief showers and breezy periods throughout the morning. While widespread rainfall is not expected, residents should keep an umbrella nearby just in case of a passing shower.

Humidity is sitting at a comfortable 77%, while barometric pressure stands at 1015.9 mb. Rainfall during the last 24 hours measured just 0.4 mm. Yesterday was warm, with temperatures climbing to 30.5°C, while overnight temperatures cooled to 22.8°C.

Unlike recent days, there are no weather advisories or warnings currently in effect, providing a welcome break from the dust haze alerts that have affected the region over the past week.

Marine conditions remain slight to moderate in open waters, with swells ranging from 1.2 metres to 2.0 metres. Small-craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution due to above-normal swells.

Across the region this morning, Trinidad and Antigua are enjoying fair weather, Barbados and San Juan are partly cloudy, Miami is overcast, New York is partly cloudy, Toronto is fair, while London is experiencing overcast skies with light rain.

Sunrise today was at 5:37 am, while sunset is expected at 6:28 pm. High tide is forecast for 7:28 pm.

That’s your friendly weather update for today. Have a wonderful Wednesday, enjoy the cooler morning temperatures, and keep an eye out for those passing showers as you head about your day.
