Good morning SVG! A weak tropical wave is moving across the islands today, bringing a mix of clouds, sunshine and the possibility of a few brief showers. While it won’t be a washout, keeping an umbrella nearby may not be a bad idea.

    At 6:00 a.m., conditions at Argyle International Airport were reported as cloudy, breezy and slightly hazy. Temperatures were a comfortable 26.9°C, while northeasterly winds were blowing at approximately 22 km/h.

    Forecasters say the weak tropical wave will continue influencing conditions throughout the morning. Expect partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies with a few isolated showers moving across the islands from time to time. Hazy conditions are also expected to linger.

    There are currently no weather advisories or warnings in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

    Marine conditions remain generally favourable, with seas slight to moderate in open waters and swells ranging from 1.0 to 1.5 metres. No marine advisories are currently in effect.

    Across the region, Barbados is partly cloudy and breezy, Antigua and San Juan are partly cloudy, while Miami, New York and Toronto are experiencing cloudier conditions. London is partly cloudy and breezy with light rain.

    Today’s high tide is expected at 1:30 p.m.. Low tides are forecast for 6:13 a.m. and 9:52 p.m.. Sunrise was at 5:37 a.m. and sunset will occur at 6:31 p.m..
