Good morning, SVG! We’re starting this Thursday under cloudy, breezy and slightly hazy skies as a tropical wave moves across the islands. So yes, keep that umbrella close today — not because it’s an all-day rain event, but because a few scattered showers and even an isolated thunderstorm could pop up as the day goes along.

At 6:00 a.m., the Meteorological Office at Argyle International Airport reported a temperature of 27.2°C, with northeast winds blowing at around 24 km/h. Humidity is on the higher side at 90%, so it may feel a little muggy in spots, especially when the breeze eases.

Forecasters say a tropical wave is crossing the islands, bringing partly cloudy and breezy conditions at times, along with a few scattered showers, isolated thunderstorms and moderate haze.

There are currently no weather advisories or warnings in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Marine conditions remain slight to moderate in open waters, with swells ranging between 1.0 and 1.8 metres. No marine advisory is in effect, but sea users should still keep an eye on changing conditions, especially near heavier showers.
