Forty-four (44) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from two hundred and twenty-eight(228) samples collected on Monday November 8th, 2021, resulting in a positivity of 19.3%.Sixteen (16) new rapid antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on November 8th 2021. HOSPITAL ADMISSIONSThere are currently twelve (12) patients admitted for COVID-19 at the Argyle Isolation Facility.Eleven (11) patients are unvaccinated, and one (1) patient is partially vaccinated. St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC) has provided support to the people of Cuba to help in that country’s fight against COVID-19. The financial donation of $12,000 EC dollars was made following an appeal conveyed through the Friends of Cuba. This group includes the Cuba – SVG Friendship Society, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Medical Association and the Association of Cuban Professionals in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
