Eighteen (18) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from one hundred and ninety-two (192) samples processed on April 30th, 2021 resulting in a positivity rate of 9.4%.Sixteen (16) of these eighteen (18) cases are evacuees in emergency shelters. A release from the Canadian High Commission in Barbados made available on Monday, announced that the Government of Canada has pledged CAD$440,000 in immediate aid to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in the wake of the volcanic eruption.
