An auxiliary police officer is on sick leave after being allegedly beaten with a broomstick by a teenager at the Liberty Lodge Boys Training Centre in Green Hill. Preliminary reports indicate that Andrew Williams, a 41-year-old resident of Fountain, sustained two gunshot wounds to the right side of his torso.
