St Vincent recorded another road fatality for the year on Sunday morning. Dead is Owanie Haynes, 27 years, a resident of Arnos Vale, while the other occupants, Elton Andrews, 26 years of Sion Hill and 13 year old student T. J Castello sustained injuries along with the driver of the vehicle Xarie Brereton, 26 years of Sion Hill. A man who was arrested earlier this week for the stabbing death of Ricky Andrews of Arnos Vale was released from custody yesterday. He was seen leaving the Calliaqua police station with his lawyer Grant Connell. When contacted, Connell stated that “You have to understand… that ..not every act which results in the death of another…is murder….the facts of what transpired that afternoon are well known by now….”. The Cuban capital was battered late Sunday and early Monday by powerful winds and heavy rains.
